Splendid example of a Caucasian SHAHSAVAN kilim, with vibrant vegetable colors, a typical representative of its category and with a strong personality, like the Shahsavan people. The red background is given by the madder root and is perfectly enclosed in an indigo blue frame. The two medallions seem to "explode" from the carpet.
