Biography: Born in Australia, where he cultivated his passion for interior design throughout his life, attending the prestigious RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology), from which he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. After initially working for a couple of leading Australian architecture and interior design firms, Hicks founded his eponymous design studio, David Hicks, in 2000, which has grown and evolved into Australia's leading luxury-oriented interior design and building brand. David Hicks has won and been shortlisted for numerous national and international design awards, including FX International Design Awards, Belle Coco Republic Design Awards, Idea Awards, Australian Interior Design Awards, and Dulux Colour Awards.
