Fine oil painting on copper in its engraved leather frame/case.
In this fine portrait, Camillo Benso, Count of Cavour, in his youth, is depicted in half-length, seated in an armchair with a green backrest. A particular feature of the painting is the absence of glasses, but there are other examples of portraits of the Politician-Patriot immortalized without what would become an unmistakable attribute in a more mature phase.
Good condition, still to be cleaned.
