Oil painting on canvas depicting a floral still life with an ornamental vase resting on a marble shelf. The painting of great pictorial quality is accompanied by an antique gilded silver leaf frame of the period. The work has undergone careful cleaning and relining which has not deprived the painting of its original beauty. It has, rather, brought out the ancient colors hidden under a dense layer of dust and debris accumulated over time. It should be noted that the painting has not undergone significant restoration. The accurate and meticulous style in the choice of details, the warm and bright colors refer us to the circle of the Neapolitan painter Giacomo Nani (1698/1755). The painting measures without frame cm 59 x cm 79, with frame cm 69 x cm 83.
