SOLD Pair of paintings, measuring 76 x 98 cm without frame and 82 x 104 cm with frame, depicting two outdoor gallant scenes, from the French school of the mid-18th century, with an elegant chromatic impact with light and warm tones that blend with the peace and tranquility of the rural world. In this pair we can notice the typical themes of the Rococo, namely the winking glances, the triumph of flowers and the draped fabrics, all made and visible in a very fine and delightful way thanks to a wise use of colors that flood the works in question with decorative richness; however, analyzing the faces of the protagonists, the grace and elegance of the glances and gestures, we can note how one wants to tell an aesthetic not only "ethical", but also the attempt to express through the sensitivity of emotions, sometimes formal and sometimes more frivolous, this freedom of decoration and this lightness of colors, an essential part of French Rococo painting. The paintings and art objects published here are my exclusive property and consequently are always available to be viewed in person, by appointment, at my exhibition locations in Sanremo and Brescia. The work, like all our objects, is sold accompanied by a FIMA photographic certificate of authenticity and lawful origin; this document identifies the object adding value to the item.
