Dino Fantini

Description: Interesting and large oil painting on canvas made in 1969 by the painter from Cagliari Dino Fantini (1913-1989). In Cagliari, the city where he lived and worked for a long time, as an artist he was influenced by the sculptor Francesco Ciusa, beginning his artistic studies under his guidance, drawing and modeling the nude: already at 18 he won the 1st prize in the National Exhibition for young artists in Rome. Signed and dated at the bottom right (photo n°5): the canvas alone measures cm.100; h.80. Good state of conservation.
