Elegant complete set of 12 matte silver cutlery by A. Cesa S.C.

Description: Prestigious English-style cutlery set for 12, composed of 125 pieces: made by the historic silversmith A. Cesa S.C. in matte silver with a fineness of 800 between 1970 and 1971 (the year the activity ended). The Cesa company has always been the official supplier to the House of Savoy, as well as to several royal families in Europe, and, since the birth of the Republic, the exclusive supplier to the Quirinale. The service bears 3 hallmarks (see photo 10): in the oval we have the 800 fineness, the Cesa logo and the polygon with the little star and the inscription 1 Al (the silversmith's number and Alexandria). The total weight is kg.7.562 divided as follows: Kg.4.925 for the cutlery completely in silver (therefore excluding the knives and the pieces that we will describe) and kg.2.637 which includes the two sets of knives, the bread knife, the cheese knife, the bottle opener and the nutcracker.
