This is an important lacquered display case, a typical product of the Marche region, with faux marble lacquer, floral decorations, and mascarons on the sides.
The structure is very simple in shape, but the wavy cymatium gives movement to the piece, dating it to the Baroque period.
Period: mid-17th century
Lacquered poplar wood.
Glass and crystal shelves have been added to the display case, so it can now be used as a showcase.
