One of two Louis XV Venetian boiserie panels

Fascinating boiserie panel depicting an allegory. The artifact, made using the technique of tempera on canvas, features a landscape and a zither player in the central part. The state of preservation is excellent; the panel was relined and framed about a hundred years ago. It dates back to the Louis XV period and its origin is Venice. It measures 108 cm in width and 173 cm in height. (There is also a second panel available, coming from the same palace with similar, but not identical, paintings and measurements). Like all our items, it is sold with a certificate of authenticity according to the law and can be shipped throughout Italy in maximum safety.
