Antique and elegant oval solid silver tray with a wavy shape by Ugo Repossi.

Description: Antique and delightful oblong tray with a wavy and fluted edge (photo n°1) made in Alexandria in 800 solid silver by the Valenza silversmith Ugo Repossi (1936/1949). The size of the tray alone, excluding the handles, is cm.45x31. The handles, with a small floral decoration in the center and opposing volutes, measure cm.9; h.5, so the maximum size is cm.54x31. On the edge, there is the 800 hallmark inside the oval and the silversmith's mark inside the lozenge (138 AL). The antique tray is in a good state of preservation: kg.1,210.
