Elegant neoclassical silver and ebony cake stand with three tiers of diminishing size, consisting of three circular elements exquisitely pierced and embossed, each with different motifs.
The largest shelf is supported by three worked zoomorphic feet, and centrally there is a fluted column with a Corinthian capital, culminating in an amphora vase that serves as a handle.
The railings that surround the shelves 360 degrees, from bottom to top are decorated, respectively with:
Grape vines and vine leaves
Concatenated circles and Rosettes
Concatenated circles with acanthus leaves in the center,
all motifs of the typical decorations of Neoclassicism.
The silver does not bear any hallmarks.
