Oil on panel by Thomas van Apshoven (Antwerp 1622-1664). He was a Flemish painter known for his landscapes with peasant scenes and genre scenes in interiors. His paintings depict scenes of village festivals, tavern interiors, landscape or village scenes with peasants engaged in various activities. His style was very close to that of David Teniers the Younger. The painting comes with an expertise by Prof. Ferdinando Arisi. Excellent condition. Panel dimensions 49x63, with frame 72x86.5
