“Ciabatta” table, central Italy, 15th century

Gattice wood table (variety of willow comparable to white poplar) of the type called "a ciabatta"; typology widespread in central-northern Italy at the turn of the fifteenth century, characterized by a great simplicity of the lines and the complete disassembly of the furniture.

Our table is in good storage conditions and "natural", in the sense that the wood that composes it has never been stained but retains its original color slightly darkened by time.
