Rare Samarkand rug with "vases": six vases of different sizes and branches of peach blossoms are depicted on a warm "shocking" pink background. The border, of a pale jade green, encloses pink peonies; a small internal yellow border finishes the whole piece. ref. no. 1417 - dimensions cm. 340 x 170 -
