Antique Samarkand carpet - nr.1416 -

Rare Samarkand carpet with "vases": 5 vases with flowers are represented on a beautiful coral red background - the light green border collects pink peonies. The colors are the original ones, not faded or chemically retouched (as unfortunately happens many times). Being an example of old manufacture, the fleece has some worn parts, but there are no restorations in the structure. ref. nr. 1416 - sizes: 255x165
