Iranian GABBEH carpet from a private collection - n.961 -

Persian GABBEH carpet, a typical product of the nomads of central-southern Iran for internal use in their tents: now famous all over the world. This piece is from my collection. It measures cm. 160 x 110. The very marked design on a bright red background probably represents open pomegranates, to wish prosperity, abundance and fertility. Also suitable in a modern environment, due to the strong impact of the colors and the simplicity of the design. Special prices for business closure
