Three decorated porcelain plates from the "Theme and Variations" series designed by Fornasetti, Milan. The mark "Fornasetti Milano - Made in Italy" is on the back. Dimensions: Diameter 26.2 cm. The group on display includes plate No. 286, plate No. 10 and finally plate No. 78. The plates belong to the famous "Theme and Variations" series centered on the constant evolution of iconic and enigmatic themes featuring the figure of soprano Lina Cavalieri as a backdrop. The motifs reproduced for this series have been the starting point for endless interpretations, incessantly renewed and reproduced on other everyday objects as well. The tradition continues today thanks to Barnaba, son of the artist, who continues to expand the collection with ever new variations. These plates, of which we have many other pieces in the store, are real collector's items that can be exhibited individually or by creating endless compositions with the other plates in the series. Thanks to the presence of two holes on the back, they can be used as an ornamental wall motif. They can also be sold individually.
