Beautiful example of an Umbrian table from the second half of the 16th century. It is characterized by a beautiful single-board top with an inverted beak and a finely carved Greek fret pattern around the entire perimeter.
The front has 3 molded drawers, and the back has a molding that follows the entire perimeter of the piece, making it a table - writing desk suitable for the center of a room.
The spool-turned legs are beautiful and connect to each other with solid walnut planks.
The piece retains an excellent walnut patina and does not require restoration work.
Its dimensions are: 124 x 60 x 83.
