T/3595 - Rug knotted in Lilian, a small satellite city of the much more famous Sarouk, around the end of the 19th century, with cotton warps and wefts and wool pile. As can be seen, in the Lilian rugs many of the characteristics that have made Sarouk rugs appreciated and famous can be found, such as the use of dughi pink for the base color, and the scroll designs, which represent branches and flowers. The rug is in perfect condition.
