The chest, made in the 17th century, has a structure in carved and inlaid walnut wood. The upper lid is carved on the front and side profiles with geometric patterns. The front and side walls feature, within carved frames, diamond-shaped inlays with a decoration in the center, in light wood, depicting a flower inscribed in a circle. The side uprights are richly carved with plant-shaped ornaments originating from an Ionic capital. The front feet have a zoomorphic foot carving. This chest can be placed in an entrance or corridor, in the bedroom or in a bathroom, or in a tavern. Very capacious, it is a decorative furnishing element that can also be inserted in modern contexts, bringing a touch of warmth to the environment.
