Lombard drop-front desk in solid walnut, carved and threaded in boxwood, with the front part sculpted with auspicious and fertility motifs such as grapes, cornucopia and open and closed pomegranate (which alternate in the drawers and the drop-front) to symbolize the woman and the man, typical of the Bergamo valleys. Excellent original patina.
