Elegant Neapolitan chest of drawers in the Louis XV style, crafted in the mid-18th century, using precious woods like bois de violette and rosewood, finely inlaid with refined and harmonious taste. The flowing lines, characteristic of both the front and sides, fully express the rocaille style of the period.
The piece of furniture features two large drawers with gilded bronze handles and sabots, elaborately crafted, which further enhance the structure. The original top in warm, naturally veined Siena yellow marble, perfectly shaped to follow the sinuous movement of the body, completes the composition.
A superb example of high Neapolitan cabinetmaking from the 18th century, combining aesthetic refinement and the masterful craftsmanship of the era.
