Important and refined oval polychrome stucco depicting a Madonna with the child Jesus. The mother and son are held in a tender embrace, and besides the typical attire of the Madonna, two halos are visible. This stucco dates back to the late 16th century and is attributable to Tuscan craftsmanship. The work was subsequently set in a refined oval frame of carved and gilded wood with pure gold leaf, to which three polychrome terracotta angels are applied, dating from the late 18th century. This is a work of great quality and refinement, capable of adding a touch of class and antiquity to the decor of any room.
