It is masterfully inlaid with geometric and floral motifs, with a central medallion inlaid with ribbons, garlands and musical notes outlined in pen. Details and shading created with the pyrogravure technique. It is veneered and inlaid with walnut feather, cherry feather, maple, tinted maple, bois de rose or yew wood essences, as well as plum or amaranth. It is a piece of high Austrian cabinetmaking with exquisite dimensions. With four original side drawers also original, intended to contain cards and tokens of the time.
